It's Still Officially April!

Yes, Just scraping in on the last day of the month ha ha!

We have been really enjoying our times at the Pakuranga Night Market, where we get to meet so many wonderful people - if you are reading this and have never been, it is so worth while. It is in the car park under the Warehouse at the Pakuranga Town Centre off Reeves Road and we now have a permanent stall right at the end of the Food Alley in the corner, where it is a little quieter (cough, cough - the foot traffic is huge so 'quiet' is probably not exactly accurate for the Night Market). So feel free to drop on by and get FREE Dream Interpretations, Spiritual Insights, Healing or whatever you fancy off the Menu Board, we would love to see you there!

Next Date we are there is Saturday May 19th 2012 from 6pm till late.

We have a Revelations Dream School coming up on the 11th and 12th May in Gisborne - so if you know anyone in that area let them know and they can contact Jenny Kent  @ bkent@xtra.co.nz or phone her on 06 868 4074 but you will have to get in quick as we need to know numbers this week for printing the manuals!

If you would like a Revelations Dream School in your area for your social/business/church group please don't hesitate to contact us via www.dreams.org.nz or email us on dreams@xtra.co.nz

As most of you know we love interpreting dreams (night visions), but we also love seeing people discover their life dreams and what they were actually put on this earth for and we have been so encouraged by hearing about this from some of you and also finding ourselves coming into that place of convergence where our passions, giftings, and skill set collide and when you find yourself in that place where you truly feel alive, so keep letting us know about these things when you email us too!

Please feel free to keep sending in your dreams to www.dreams.org.nz and we will endeavour to get back to you in around 7 days.

'I'm Feelin' Good'

I’m Feeling Good

Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel

Breeze driftin' on by
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good, I'm feeling good.

Fish in the sea
You know how I feel
River running free
You know how I feel
Blossom on the tree
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don't you know
Butterflies all havin' fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when the day is done, that's what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
For me

Stars when you shine
You know how I feel
Scent of the pine
You know how I feel

Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
It's a new life
For me

And I'm feeling good, I'm feeling good, I feel so good, I feel so good.

It’s a New dawn, it’s a New day, and it’s a New Year!!!!!  I love this song, particularly Michael Buble’s version!  I love the way he uses this clip to portray many men’s idea of a Dream – partaking in a ‘Bond Movie’.

Yes, it’s that time of year when we meditate on all the things that we might like to achieve for the year ahead of us.  Hopefully we have relaxed enough to consider this and maybe even have a plan laid out so that we can move forward with our goals. No?  Well now might be a good opportunity to allow your mind to wander over some of things that you would like to achieve.

I love the question

“What would you do if money wasn’t an object?”

This is a great one, and can encourage us to Dream outside of the box by removing any financial limitations.

We would love to hear some of your thoughts on this, no matter how wild – so feel free to post them into the comments below – this will encourage others to ‘Dream Big for 2012’.

It is great to be able to bounce off ideas and dreams and inspire each other! (I have the power of moderating the comments lol (whew she says!))

Some of our Dreams may be inspired by our Visions in the Night.  Try and get into the habit of writing your dreams down so you can review them later.  See one of my earlier blogs http://www.thedreamsinger.blogspot.com/2011/07/dreams-can-your-dreams-really-affect.html for some of the inventions that others have discovered in their dreams.  Some Dreams can seem so intimidating and way beyond our natural capabilities, but I believe that these are some of the most exciting ones, given to us to show us what we can become.  They encourage us to reach our full potential and they can be achieved by using our imaginations, a little boldness, and a firm conviction!

If you have had a Dream where you know that it is linked to your destiny, but you are not quite sure exactly what it is saying, feel free to send them into www.dreams.org.nz we would love to help you dig in and discover what an amazing future could be hidden in the midst of your Dreams.

You see things and say, 'Why?", but I dream things and say, 'Why not?

I Have a Dream Today!

I was born on August 28 1963 – yes I am telling you my age, but there is a reason behind this.  This was the same day as Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous speech.

Is this coincidental .... personally I don’t believe in coincidence .... I only found out last year the actual date of his speech and that had a profound impact on me.  I do believe that it is relevant to who I am and what I do!

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."

Throughout his speech Martin Luther King Jr. repeated “I have a dream today!”  I believe that he could visibly see what the future held. His dream was firmly implanted in his spirit, he was painting a picture of what he had envisioned this world could be like and as he passionately shared his vision with the rest of the world they began to see it too!

Each of us have passions, areas in life that we care deeply about – most of these things have been inspired by other people in our lives, some of them even from people that we have never met.  Some have been inspired by the dreams we have at night (parables in the night seasons).

I have had several dreams that have been like pictures painted and imprinted in my spirit that have caused me to consider something that I had never previously thought about and as I have pondered them and began to understand the meaning of them for my life and then discovered how to apply them, many new doors have opened that are beyond the realms of ‘coincidence’.

How many of you have had dreams that have ignited a desire to  bring change on either a personal, national or even global level, create or invent something new that could transform your life and others, develop a business that will profit you and generate work for others.  Sometimes all you need is a 'dream today' to simply walk into the destiny that you were created for!

If you need help in interpreting some of your dreams that you know are important please feel free to drop us a line at www.dreams.org.nz and we will endeavour to help bring clarity and fresh vision so that you too can be an agent for change, whether it is simply just for you or for your community and beyond!

We’re Going on a Treasure Hunt!

Our dreams provide clues to discovering buried or hidden treasure.

There are apparently over 7 billion people on this planet but did you know that you are unique, unlike any other person – with a certain personality type, particular skills and abilities, and areas that you are passionate about.  The reason for that is so that you can influence your world in a way that nobody else can!

Sometimes the thing or things that we were born to do will come out in our dreams. There are ideas that have not even entered into our minds that crop up in our dreams and some of them hint at or even s-c-r-e-a-m at us, endeavouring to direct us into the area/s that we are meant to be focusing on.

Dreams release you into another dimension, out of the physical, outside of the ‘usual’ realm of possibilities and into the realm of the impossible, but because of the particular mix that is ‘you’, this removes the impossible factor and makes it achievable.

A profound statement by Steve Jobs  the visionary behind Apple who passed away yesterday   ‘Don’t let the opinions of others drown out your own voice!’ shows that if we allow others to influence how we move forward in life, it can hinder us from recognising that our dreams can carry seeds, blueprints, or strategies that might just be the next step we are meant to take that propels us into our destiny.

Your dreams are filled with treasure.  If you need a hand digging, please feel free to contact us at www.dreams.org.nz and we will endeavour to help you reveal the amazing riches that are just waiting to be discovered.

Sweet Dreams!

Can Your Dreams Come True?

“Do you think that this dream is telling me about my future?” Is a very common question that I get asked.

I believe that a lot of dreams can show us things about ourselves.  I call these Self/Soul dreams and these can show us that we may need to attend to something in our life.  Often these ones are just purely processing daily situations, but even in these dreams we can find answers that we have been looking for.

Other dreams are more melancholic in nature, tend to be a bit frightening and/or dark and in some cases we know them to be an outright lie.  These ones are called Lying/Dark Dreams, just bin these ones!

Then there are those that show us that we can be more than we currently are and actually either highlight some latent ability in our life or introduce a new ability that upon awakening actually gets us to thinking…maybe we could do this thing and it spurs us into looking closer at the idea presented in the dream.  This is a True Dream and often these can be prophetic in nature.

Let’s look at the word ‘Prophetic’ so that we can understand what it means.

PROPHETIC (adjective)

The adjective PROPHETIC has 1 sense:

1. Foretelling events as if by supernatural intervention.

To be honest, sometimes it isn’t simple to recognise if a dream is prophetic or not, and often it isn’t until after something has occurred, that we remember that we actually had a dream regarding this.

So the proof is in the pudding? In the initial stages of learning how to interpret our dreams, probably yes!

Personally, what I have found is that something might be introduced to me in a dream that isn’t currently happening and to be honest is pretty much impossible except for supernatural intervention!  What happens then is that this idea actually seems really exciting to me when I think about it, and from that initial dream either a door will open up that I know is connected to what the dream was saying, or I will often get another dream, or a series of dreams that will add more information and even tell me how to proceed forward from what was initially just a spark of an idea from that first fleeting dream.

Get ready to receive dreams that will bypass your logic and rationale and scream "You can't do this!" but because they come by supernatural intervention they will plant a seed within you that will give you the impetus to step into the amazing adventures that are wrapped up in your destiny!

If you would like to find out if your Dreams can come true, please feel free to drop us a line at www.dreams.org.nz .  Don’t forget to give us a little information about yourself i.e. when you had the dream, what is going on in your life etc as this helps us to give you a more accurate interpretation.

Understanding Context and Decoding Symbols in Your Dreams

Our dreams are messages that we receive while in a peaceful and relaxed state as we sleep.  They are a little like Morse code, hieroglyphics or the Dead Sea Scrolls and they need to be decoded!  This takes a lot of practice, time and skill.  So often when we think about our dreams, we tend to want to interpret them from a literal perspective when in reality many of them are symbolic.

Some dreams may be short and sweet only containing one or two symbols, such as a vehicle or a house.  Other dreams can be populated with various people, all sorts of objects and animals that may actually mean something completely different when you dig a little deeper than what they literally represent on the surface.

It is very important not to just pick out the symbol meanings without looking at the entire context of the dream. Simply focusing primarily on the symbols and what they represent can be somewhat misleading thus preventing the dreamer from receiving insight, direction and even misunderstanding the whole purpose for the dream being communicated. The dream needs to be considered in its entirety.

Where and how do we start?
  1. Are you in the dream or simply observing?
  2. Who else is in the dream?
  3. Is the dream in colour or black and white?
  4. What are the significant symbols in the dream?
  5. Where was the dream set?
  6. What sort of emotion did you feel during the dream?
  7. What were the important things that stood out to you in the dream?
  8. What title would you give your dream? This can give you a good idea what the overall context is.
  9. Is there anything going on in your life that you recognise the dream may be speaking about?
These nine simple questions should start the ball rolling to help you begin to interpret your own dreams, but remember if you are struggling to find the interpretation keep asking questions and if you need help, please feel free to contact DREAMS at www.dreams.org.nz  for a personal Dream Interpretation.  If you want to gather a group of friends and make a day/night/party of it drop us an email and if you would like to book the Revelations Dream School please see http://extremepropheticnz.com/schools/dream-school-register.html   Don’t forget to let us know a little bit about yourself and your circumstances – as this helps in giving you an accurate interpretation.  Sweet Dreams all!

The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of

I dreamt I was sitting a test, naked, in my house, which didn’t really look like my house, my teeth were falling out, and I flew back to my ex-boyfriends place and drove my car into the sea while quoting nursery rhymes to my long dead grandmother.

Ever have dreams that seem to make no sense at all, in fact you are sure they are just tangled nonsensical nothings!  Indeed some of them are better off just staying on the pillow after you wake up, but some are worth digging deeper for the rich treasure that can be found hidden with just a little bit of time and effort.  Some of them can even change the direction you are heading or breathe fresh vision into the humdrum routine that your life can sometimes become.

The above dream may sound a little crazy, and I promise this one isn’t real, but these are some of the most common dreams that people have along with being chased, falling, snakes, spiders and bathroom dreams.

Having interpreted many, many dreams, I have found that the abovementioned crop up time and time again, and depending on the overall context have fairly similar meanings.

Everybody’s favourite are the flying dreams.  These dreams can sometimes seem so realistic and even upon waking you feel exhilarated, a great sense of freedom and able to conquer anything!  This is in fact often what they are saying.  These dreams can give you a sense of supernatural power and can show spiritual intuition that helps you to gain a new or higher perspective.  They can be showing you that you have great insight into things – a good overview of certain situations and an ability to be able to soar above difficult circumstances.  Flying dreams often free you up in reality to come up with creative ideas in all aspects of your life, personally and professionally.  They can begin to position you for the destiny you were created for and push you into reaching for the more, which may have previously seemed impossible.

If you or a friend have had some of these dreams and you are not sure exactly what they mean in your set of circumstances, please feel free to send them into www.dreams.org.nz and we will endeavour to help bring clarity and direction.

Body, Soul & SPIRIT DREAMS

Over the last century we have been encouraged to view our dreams as simply dealing with our soul – which is our mind, will and emotions, chemical imbalances in our body, medicines, or natural bodily functions and desires.

I would like to suggest to you, that by and large the psychoanalysts and others of similar ilk have neglected another very important aspect to our dreams……….our spirit.

Personally, I believe that our spirit is the most important aspect of us.  It is what makes us who we are, and many of our dreams bypass our mind, which puts up barriers or filters related to our life experiences and the things that we have been taught and go directly to our spirit.

Why do some dreams go directly to our spirit?  Well, our minds are a little tricky at times, and we all tend to have blind spots in our lives, so that if the dream went via the pathway of our mind, it would probably be discarded or passed off as something we ate.

Our spirit is the eternal part of us, hence the journey for our spirit is not a short one, and our spirit is always learning and expanding, depending on what we feed it.

Often these dreams can be like a form of counselling without the exorbitant fees!  They are given to us to tweak things in our lives that we have hidden, ignored, or possibly justified.

If we allow them, some of the dreams we receive will actually feed our spirit, transform our minds, bring healing to our bodies, enable us to lead full and contented lives and propel us into our destiny!

Please feel free to send your dreams into www.dreams.org.nz and we will endeavour to help you do all the above!
